Zhangjiagang second people's hospital, founded in 1958, was formerly houcheng central health center. It is the only public hospital in the free trade zone (jingang town) and a second-level general hospital with strong comprehensive strength. In 2004, it was renamed as the jingang people's hospital of zhangjiagang city, and in 2017, it was renamed as the second people's hospital of zhangjiagang city, with the brands of zhangjiagang free trade zone hospital, zhangjiagang jingang people's hospital of zhangjiagang city, and Shanghai 10th affiliated hospital of tongji university.
